Chess Teaching Assistance

In accordance with our mission statement, the VSCA frequently donates chess equipment to school chess clubs, libraries and other non-profit organizations who teach chess to school children.

    • Chess Tournament Assistance

    The VSCA believes that chess education, including tournament competition, should be accessible to all school children regardless of their financial situation. We regularly provide U. S. Chess Federation (US Chess) memberships and/or waive our tournament entry fees for those who would not otherwise have the opportunity to compete.
